Why Settle For Anything Less Than 100% Wild-Harvested?
Acai100 is the only 100% pure, wild-harvested organic Acai berry juice that is fully supported by the
research findings of the World's foremost scientific expert on Acai, Dr. Stephen Talcott, PhD., of Texas A&M University.
Dr. Talcott's research and scientific studies have been published in numerous peer-reviewed scientific journals such as the Journal of Agriculture
and Food Chemistry, Food Research International, and Food Chemistry. Cumulatively, the Acai100 product has over 40,000 hours in clinical research validating its use and effectiveness.
Additionally the Acai100 product uses only Wild Harvested ingredients. This means that only the highest quality Acai berries that are grown and gathered from their natural, native habitat in an earth-friendly manner are used within the product.
In terms of utilizing the uncompromised power of nature, there is simply no more higher grade of 'natural' that can be achieved than those herbs or plants that are ethically harvested from their native, pristeen natural habitat. NO man-made chemical or unnatural interventions; including growth hormones, herbicides, or pesticides are ever used.
The Acai berry is one of the world's most interesting and unique foods - it is also one of its healthiest.
Chocked full of antioxidants, amino acids, and essential fatty acids, the tiny Acai berry packs a nutritional wallop rarely seen in the natural world.
In fact, some experts consider it to be the world's most complete natural food.
To the people of South America and the Brazilian Amazonian regions the Acai berry has been a staple, main stay, and even a critical medicinal berry to thousands of people for centuries.
Historically, the use of the Acai berry dates back over a thousand years. Its therapeutic food value was known to the earliest Brazilian natives
and there are many legends that pertain to the Acai berry's incredible healing and health sustaining powers. It remains a popular health and energy food in Brazil today, as the Acai berry supports all facets of energy production in the human body.
Acai Berry is the Hottest Product in the Natural Health Industry!
With all of the attention from numerous well-known doctors, nutritionists, and even media personalities such as Rachael Ray, Oprah Winfrey, and Dr. Mehmet Oz; it is no wonder that public attention to this amazing South American berry has become so widespread.
Scientific analysis reveals that the Acai fruit contains a remarkable concentration of antioxidants (to help combat premature aging) with a reported 10 to 30 times the anthocyanins (purple-colored antioxidants) of red wine.
Additionally a perfect blending of monounsaturated (healthy) fats, dietary fiber and phytosterols can be found naturally to help promote vibrant health for the human body.
This astounding powerhouse plant also contains an almost perfect essential amino acid complex in conjunction with valuable trace minerals which are vital to proper body function.
There is simply no other fruit that can be compared with the effectiveness of the Acai. The remarkable concentration of antioxidants has been proven to also help to combat pre-mature aging.
"One of the Top 10 Super-Foods" of the planet, according to Dr. Perricone author of the best seller book; "The Perricone Promise" presented on the Oprah Winfrey show.
What are Free Radicals?
Everything is made up of atoms. Atoms that have a full compliment of electrons tend to be peaceful, inert atoms. They tend not to enter into chemical reactions and occupy a peaceful existance in your body.
Atoms that do not have a full compliment of electrons are unstable. Something is missing in their existence - and they very badly want to get another electron so they can be stable and inert. These unstable atoms are called - Free Radicals.
Free radicals tend to move quickly to try to steal an electron from whatever molecule happens to be around them. Of course, whatever they steal an electron from now becomes a new free radical and the process is like a domino effect
Free radicals are not unusual, nor are they bad - in moderation. Our body performs many functions and there will always be some free radicals created. However, if the level of free radicals gets too high in the body, you may run into major problems. Many health issues have been speculated to be linked to high levels of free radicals in the body.
One of the more common types of free radicals are oxygen free radicals. These are oxygen atoms that are missing an electron. In comparison; that rust you may see on the side of your car - well the same thing basically happens inside the body. Oxidative stress is what it is called when oxygen free radicals start to cause damage in your body.
Where Do Free Radicals Come From?
Breathing, eating, moving - basically living! Yes, virtually any stress we put on our body can
cause free radicals. While obvious things like polluted air, smoking, stressful events and unhealthy foods can cause free radicals -
many "healthy" activities can also create free radicals. Almost any type of exercise will put stress on our body - we all know the
saying "no pain, no gain". Well, all this stress on our muscles creates free radicals.
What is the Solution?
Antioxidants to the rescue! So, how do you turn a free radical into a harmless cell?
You give the free radical the extra electron it so desperately wants. What substance can supply this extra electron? Yes... antioxidants.
Antioxidants are any substances that prevent or slow the oxidation process. Remember, free radicals cause oxidation - and antioxidants prevent
oxidation. Antioxidants work by offering an electron to a free radical so it becomes a stable oxygen molecule.
Antioxidants Are Only Part of the Acai Benefits!
The Acai Berry is truly a wonderful plant. Acai Berries grow on the palm tree and have been prized for hundreds of years by Brazilian natives for their ability to provide a sense of strength, energy, and a high nutritional content.
Acai Berries are high in beneficial essential fatty acids & omegas - 60% Oleic (omega 9) - a monounsaturated essential fatty acid. 12% Linoleic (omega 6) - a polyunsaturated essential fatty acid.
Acai also contains many valuable Phytosterols. Sterols are compounds of plant cell membranes providing numerous benefits to the human body.
Additionally the Acai Berry is a dense source of a particular class of flavonoids called anthocyanins.
And if all of this wasn't enough... the Acai Berry is also an excellent source of dietary fiber!
The Acai palm tree (açaí) is a 6-24 meter tall, fruiting palm that grows in Amazonia, mostly in the wetlands of Brazil.
It was named by the native people there as 'içá-çai', which roughly translated is: 'the fruit that cries'.
Acai has been used for centuries by the Amazon natives of Brazil for it's legendary 'healing powers', and has been in recent years come to the attention of the scientific community and the rest of the world.
